Letter to Sell a House

This is pretty self explanatory.  We used the handwritten letter idea that works so well to buy houses, to sell a house.  Yes, I will take the credit for drafting the letter.  Of course I simply took what I liked from other mailers I had seen and combined them to come up with this letter. 

I wish I could say that the letter was a huge success.  But I can't.  It did work, the phone did ring and people asked about the house for sale.  The reason it didn't work perfectly is the house that we were selling wasn't in the best neighborhood.  We did end up selling the house, just not with this mailer. 

A note of interest; we mailed this letter to a very targeted list.  One that many of you might not have thought of.  We targeted business owners that rent their home. 

I think, this letter mailed to that list with the right house for sale is a sure winner.  Especially if you can sell the house on a lease option or with seller financing.  I figure that business owners can probably afford a house but at the same time, probably don't think they can qualify to buy a house with a traditional mortgage.  So they are a prime candidate for a lease option or seller financing.  Just an idea.

In case you are wondering, yes, I did sell the house to a business owner that was renting.
